The Pace of Daily Life In the fast paced life that so many live, it can seem just about impossible to find the time for meditation or spiritual contemplation. Really, it's not the time that is so hard to find. That is not really what stops us. It is the grinding of the gears that can be almost painful when the racing mind and anxious muscles sit down in an attempt to quiet themselves. That's where Affirmative Contemplation comes in. These recordings work for you in three different ways in your quest to establish a regular practice of meditation. They help you bridge the gap between your ordinary state of consciousness and the more mystical state of awareness which is your inner truth. Lets look at each of the three ways you can put these recordings to work for you:

1. Affirmative Mind Templates It can be difficult to take the big leap from your habitual patterns of thought to the open and expansive space of meditative awareness. It's really too big of a jump for most of us to accomplish all at once. That's why we are here together right now. We are about to make that journey much more enjoyable and engaging by finding bridges that lead us easily from our day-to-day style of mind toward a true meditative awareness. The contemplative process is an empowering tool. It gives the mind something to ponder, something to savor, and something to engage with. It allows the mind to maintain its current rhythm of thinking which keeps the process fluid and comfortable. By offering the mind words and phrases that affirm your divine truth and inner radiance, you keep the mind moving just like it was before. Allowing the mind to move at its own pace and as it wishes without resistance, paradoxically, creates a smooth ride into the realm of meditation. The words, phrases, and thoughts in these recordings function as templates. They encourage the alignment of energy within you. This alignment creates passageways within your consciousness through which divine energy can flow. This flow of energy manifests as feelings of unconditional love and compassion. It displays itself in your personality as wisdom and friendliness. It mixes alchemically with your uniqueness to amplify your talents and abilities.

2. Graduated Length The I Am Love recordings are of graduated length. Since just about anyone can find three minutes in their day, I like to think of the first recoding as a vitamin pill. It is small, condensed, intense, and beneficial. As you take 3 minutes to listen, simply repeat the phrases to yourself. Let these ideas weave themselves into your day-to-day consciousness. Once you have used the first recording for a while and you feel comfortable setting three minutes aside for this process, you may notice a desire for more. You may soon want to stretch this time of aligning with your inner being. When that happens, move on to the the seven minute version of I Am Love. It is the same as the the three minute version but it gives you more time in between the words. Use this time to soak your mind in the essences presented by the phrases. Deeply consider how these words feel to you as you let them float through your awareness. If and when you get to the point where you want to do a full 20 minute session, use the 20 minute recording of I Am Love. This recording engages your thinking mind. The music and speaking keep you softly focused as they guide you gently toward your alignment The second part of the 20 minute recording is breath related. It carries you toward a more meditative awareness than the other versions.

3. Positions of the Sun The remaining three recordings have more specific functions. Sunrise Before you step on the fast track of your routine, use this recording to set the tone of unconditional love and creative freedom for your day. I recommend waking up to this recording instead of a radio or alarm clock. If you have a CD/alarm clock, burn this MP3 onto its own CD and see how it feels in the morning. Noon This recording cultivates self appreciation, self-esteem, and independence of spirit. Night Get yourself cozy in bed and let this 23 minute recoding run. You may never hear the end of this one. Float off into a beautiful restful sleep. See you in the morning when we Begin the Day...
